Forever Free – New Song

Inspired by the book “The Raggamuffin Gospel” by Brennan Manning.

“My deepest awareness of myself is that I am deeply loved by Jesus Christ and I have done nothing to earn it or deserve it.”
― Brennan Manning, The Ragamuffin Gospel

Forever Free

I have
Been silent so long
Feeling unworthy
To sing Your song
I have
Fallen away
I hid myself from You
Afraid of what you’d say

But then you picked me up
From the miry clay
Set my feet on the rock to stay
I am forever free

So teach me
Lead me
In the ways I should go
Hold me
You’ve shown me
A love I have never known
I am forever free

I am
Walking in grace
Whole & complete
Within mercy’s embrace
