“Songs of worship arise from a life of worship.”
For years…mornings were the times I set aside personal worship and study. Life slowly got in the way… work, needs of others, worry… fears… a host of things it seems. But God knows everything about us as it clearly notes in Psalm 139.
O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
2 You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off.
3 You comprehend my path and my lying down,
And are acquainted with all my ways. – Psalm 139:1-3
God knows what we need and how to draw us back unto Him… and since coming to Northern Michigan, I have been feeling the tug of my heart to come and fellowship with Him again. To contemplate His awesome wonder. To once again see with clear eyes the wonder and beauty of who He is. It is from this place that I find myself in that place of worship. It’s what we all are call to do!
In recent months I have been writing, composing and recording instrumental music… all based my morning experiences of running along Mullet Lake (Tripping the Light Fantastic)… but, now… it’s time to sing.
Will you join me? God is worthy!
Listen… join with me in worship today!
