The Gift of Worship

“Without worship, we go about miserable.”
A. W. Tozer

There is nothing worse than feeling miserable, down, hopeless. Like many… I know when I am in that place, it’s hard for me to find a way out. It seems at every turn I am unable to find relief and it usually is the result of my neglect of worshipping God consistently. It’s not a good feeling!

It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; – Psalm 92:1

To worship God is something that is good for us… and of course, to God as well. It brings positive results into our lives as well as the object of our truest, deepest affection… Jesus. It is truly, a many splendored thing.

We all… and let me stress this fully. We ALL are imperfect beings. We all have fallen… we all fail… we all miss the mark. It’s from this place (I have been there) we feel unworthy of the privilege to worship God. But, no one who is in Christ is exempt from such a privilege. Worship is a place where we often find forgiveness… it’s a place where we are made new and once again it brings joy, peace and unity with our God.

So as this new day begins… take a moment to simply worship God. You’ll feel His embrace and joy. It’s a new day, it’s a clean slate! God’s mercies are new!

Enjoy this song as this new day begins!
