Beyond What I Know

Life is a mystery… a very common phrase, but so true! When it comes down to it… we really have no idea what the next moment will bring. It’s by faith that we live out our days. Trusting in God’s plan for our lives.

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:34

Here we’re invited to take no thought for ourselves as this day has enough to contend with. Life is a gift and we can trust that God will lead us along the way!

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” Psalm 37:23

Another great passage to keep in mind is found in Psalm 139.

For You formed my inward parts;
You [f]covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise You, for [g]I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
15 My [h]frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.

So… even though we might know what tomorrow or what the next moment might bring… God knows! In His book… they all were written, the days fashioned for us before they existed. There’s something comforting about that!

  1. Did you get my message asking for business cards with your contact info and web info so I can share with pastors and churches I know? Please. Deb Baxter, 10788 w. Ploegstra, rudyard, mi. 49780

    1. Hi Deb… so good to hear from you here! God doing a special work in my heart and life and I am humbled by His love and grace. I feel it’s the message of hour for me and I am again, humbled and underserving of such a privilege… but honored to try and articulate His love to others. I am thinking you replied to a Newsletter and I didn’t get a notification… I’ll go look around. Much LOVE to you and Terry!
